With high-tech carbon fiber appearance and titanium-like strength, Carbon Fiber Exhaust Insulating Wrap is produced with pulverized lava rock, called basalt. It is extremely pliable, resistant to discoloration, and can withstand continuous heat up to 2000°F. Wrapping headers maintains hotter exhaust gases, which exit the system faster through decreased density. Increased exhaust scavenging is produced, along with lower intake temperatures.
